Free Tarot Practice

 Tarot lives in the space between the cards: the patterns, the symbolism, the story, the one card that strolls into a spread and changes the entire conversation.

And the only way you get good at that?
You practice. A lot.

So on Sunday, October 11 from 3–6 PM, we’re taking over Echoes for a few hours of actual tarot practice!

Bring your deck, bring your oracle cards if you want to include them, bring questions. Pull cards, read for each other, compare interpretations, argue lovingly about symbolism, and see what happens when you put a few people around a table who actually know their way around the cards.

And yes, there will be experience in the room.
Kalene, (the shop owner) has been reading tarot for more than 20 years, professionally and privately, including events like Witches Night Out in Kimmswick, where she completed 40+ readings in a single day. A friend will be joining us who knows the cards, and Dan knows tarot far better than he likes to admit.
Omen and Abyss will also be there to "help" 

If you get stuck? Ask.
If a card makes absolutely no sense in the spread? Excellent. Those are usually the interesting ones.

Still reading from the guidebook? Bring it.
There is absolutely no shame in looking something up, checking a meaning, or reading directly from the book while you practice.

Around here, we value actual knowledge and experience over performance every single time.

Zero shade, zero posturing. Just actual learning.

This is FREE, casual, low-pressure, and come-and-go.

You do not have to attend Tarot 101 on Saturday to join us.
But if you are coming Saturday? Perfect. Learn the foundations, let your brain chew on them overnight, then come back Sunday and actually use the cards.

Space is limited, so come early if you want to guarantee yourself a seat. If you wander in later and we have room, pull up a chair.

No deck yet? We have plenty at the shop to purchase and we'll also have part of the shop owners slightly ridiculous personal card collection available if you want to poke through different decks or try reading with something new.
