Yooperlite

Yooperlite was discovered in 2017 by Erik

Rintamaki when he was searching for Agates

on the shore of Lake Superior in Michigan

with a UV light. The name references Yooper

(the nickname for the people in the upper

peninsula) and sodalite (which it also

contains) to make the name Yooperlite!

Yooperlite is now found along the shores of

the Great Lakes and the Upper Peninsula of

Michigan.

There are not many stones that glow under

UV light, but this amazing one does!

This stone really “shines” when it comes to

helping you learn to accept yourself and

increase your self confidence. It helps to

release negative thoughts and feelings that
